We have no words for what this week has meant to us. After the busiest week in the history of the restaurant, we spent last night with the best crew we’ve ever had. And even some who have moved on to other opportunities but will always be a part of this family. We cried heavy tears, we laughed, we told each other what we meant to one another, we drank too much and ate cookie cake, we trauma dumped and we lifted each other up. We learned just how special Pelican & Pig is, and how much it’s done for us, and realized we’re part of a family that will always love each other.
All of us can’t thank you enough for the well wishes, the “thank you’s,” the hugs, the farewell.
We may be putting the fires out, but we’re walking forward knowing that we did something incredible, something that people will remember.
We don’t know what lies ahead, but we’re proud as hell about what we’re leaving behind.
