Growing up in this area, I developed a love for BBQ at a young age. Years later as I began to actually learn the art, I started catering and doing fairs and festivals. I always had gotten good feedback from family and friends, as well as people who didn't even know me. All of them would ask why I wasn't in the BBQ business full time. Like a lot of people, I was in the corporate professional world
and was too hard headed to give into a different life. One good thing about the corporate life is that it afforded me the opportunity to travel and try some pretty good BBQ. From Texas to the Carolinas, I have eaten my fair share of BBQ. During this time as a part-time BBQer, I did weddings, fundraisers, fairs, festivals, and events. These all influenced the creation of Music City Ribs and my dedication to provide great BBQ on wheels. A couple of years ago when I was thinking about Music City Ribs, food trucks had yet to become popular in Nashville. With the economy in the shape it's in, a brick and mortar location was a huge risk, to say the least. As the food trucks started to roll out, the light went on and the planning for Music CIty Ribs began. Our initial focus will be the "Bustaurant", we will also look to have a strong catering focus as well as continuing to work special events, fairs and festivals. Since we will be mobile, we will be able to bring BBQ2U anywhere people gather. At Music City Ribs "we love what we do" "will always cook with passion low and slow" and "will always cook with 100% hard wood"(NO GAS EVER)
