Sugar cookies for days ❤️❄️🎄

I've always loved a good glossy royal icing. Whether you want to do some cookie decorating or serve up a batch of sugar cookies, this is a perfect recipe to double.

And here's a fool-proof recipe:

Sugar cookie:
1/4 cup softened butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp cream cheese or sour cream
1/4 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp almond extract
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp baking powder

Royal Icing:
1 cup powdered sugar
1.75 tbsp water (warm)
1/2 tbsp light corn syrup
1.5 tbsp meringue powder or cream of tartar
1/4 tsp favorite gel color

Beat until stiff and consistency looks gelatinous ☺️🎁

It's Christmas time! And here's a great brunch classic...Baked Brie and jam 🧀🎄🤍

Pull out your puff pastry sheet, Brie cheese and jam! A dash of brown sugar on the top and drizzle with honey. Pop into the oven at 350 for 30 mins! ⏱

Marshmallow Carmel popcorn that's perfect for gift-giving or munching 🍿🎄

Recipe:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
Pinch of salt
12 jumbo marshmallows
3.5 ounces popcorn or 5 tbsp unpopped kernels

Wrap them into balls or serve whole.
