Happy Monday friendos! I want to apologize for this delayed post, but we have been working like crazy since Friday, like things have magically turned around after years of hard work.
Friday morning Manny received a text from our landlord congratulating us... she saw us on WMUR for Best Bagels in NH! I said, there's absolutely no way, you have to go on the website and check because there's no way that can be right. At the very best, we were hoping to maybe get an honorable mention. It has been such a long road these past couple years, and we never imagined bagels would be more labor intensive and much longer hours than operating a full breakfast restaurant (our former backgrounds).
Upon seeing the results on WMUR I literally started crying!!! We cannot even begin to thank everyone for voting for us. For everyone who has come in once a month, once a week, or those we see nearly every day, you are literally the reason we are here. This is not an easy industry, especially when it's two of you making everything by hand, and you truly have to love what you do (and yes, it becomes a love/hate relationship, but you still love it). Getting to know you, meeting your families and seeing them grow, sharing some laughs and sometimes heartbreak- you are more than just a "customer" to us, you are like our extended family.
From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot convey how grateful, appreciative and thankful we are for all of you!!! Thank you so much!!!
