These past few weeks have been an adventure to say the least — but bringing something to life that we’ve envisioned for longer than we can remember has been a complete dream.

You’ll have to wait just a *little* longer until we reveal all — stay tuned early next week for updates on our opening date for Smokd Barbecue!

As we finalize the details for not ONE, but TWO locations, we’re knee deep in research and development for our full restaurant offering, Smokd Barbecue.

Those who spent time with us will be familiar with the Smokd experience, but we hope you allow us a little room to surprise you with this new menu!

Fear not, all your favorite things about barbecue will be there, but we’re bringing in some Colombian twists from the root of JP’s family history of cooking that we think will delight you.

Thank you to for providing the warm space, opportunity, and unwavering support over the past few years that helped us grow this small business idea of ours into something bigger than we could ever have dreamed of — and to the community of Narrowsburg who welcomed us with open arms and showed up week after week no matter the season, allowing us to feed you, celebrate you, share conversations, and taste test every new idea for valued and immediate feedback!

This week, we said goodbye to someone who was instrumental in the beginning of Smokd. As a team, we struggled with whether to share this — it’s not only heavy, but deeply personal.

But the roots of what we’ve built go beyond the food. They’re tied to the people who inspired us, showed up, worked hard, and left a mark.

I met Trinity as a tough, spirited teenager in Brooklyn who wanted to learn barbecue. We grew up in kitchens — from Brooklyn to Upstate New York, at the North Branch Inn, Callicoon Hills, and Smokd.

We tip our hats to her — with gratitude, respect, and remembrance.

This weekend, we will have a bouquet of pink flowers on display in her honor. If you feel inclined, we welcome you to bring a pink flower to add.
