GET Cafe A non-profit community coffee shop and center for social inclusion. Our goal at Great Expectations Together, Inc.

is to provide each community member the opportunity to live and experience social, educational, and community involvement in an enjoyable, enriching, and inclusive way. We strive to work to end discrimination against a population of individuals that often can not fiercely advocate for themselves. Our voices are strong and our passion is even stronger. Our community center in Narberth, PA offers nu

merous programs to support individuals with disabilities. We also strive to support and educate and empower family members, educators, employers and community members to break societal barriers that exist for individuals with disabilities. We know the invaluable contributions that individuals with disabilities have to offer and we welcome you to share in our experiences.

This morning something extraordinary happened at GET Café. 🎉

came out with a camera crew and executives to interview founder Brooke Goodspeed and share GETincluded’s incredible story. But then? They surprised her by presenting a $75,000 check as the winner of the 2025 Hometown Heartbeat Award.

Here’s why this matters so much:
We aren’t just serving exceptional coffee – we’re revolutionizing what employment looks like for people with disabilities. In a world where 80% of neurodivergent individuals face unemployment, Get Cafe is creating real jobs, fair wages, and genuine inclusion.

Every latte purchased. Every pastry sold. Every conversation at their tables. It all funds meaningful employment opportunities and proves that when we provide the right environment and support, people of all abilities thrive.

This $75,000 isn’t just an award – it’s validation of what we’ve always believed: that businesses built on inclusion and community impact don’t just make our neighborhoods better, they change lives.
