A weekend on the Island is always a great weekend!

We began last weekend at Grand Isle Marina handling the spread for TNT Crane’s setup at Valero / United Way’s fishing rodeo on Friday

Followed by catering the Grand Isle Ducks Unlimited banquet on Saturday night, which featured the following favorites:

Pastalaya, Fried Fish, Green Beans, Dinner Rolls, Brownies & Cookies!
😍🥘🍪 🐠 🫛🍪

A bar card / responsible vendor certification was put to use as we were able to assist in bartending their bar for the event also!
🍻🍹🍾 🎉

Pro tip: Don’t get caught up in caterers trying to sell you that total food quality and taste matters less if you can get both bar service & food together, or that it’s so stressful without the caterer selling you both together. We take pride in keeping our focus on the excellent quality of food and service with personality that you receive when you book us.

Many times you can come out less expensive and with similar or maybe even better quality with other options for bar service. Many options have active bar cards who can help you out for your reception or banquet, and we also love to recommend our friend Evy’s new bar service as well! She’s been knocking it out of the park!

This past weekend, part of the heart & soul of Code 4 Catering, Marla Calamia & Donnie Calamia Sr., along with lil brudda Mike Calamia competed in the Thibodaux Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #52 Mud Bug Boil-Off in Downtown Thibodaux!

If you know about Big D’s boiled crawfish, You know why they had so many compliments that made the heat that much more bearable!

It is always an honor to support such great organizations that give back locally, such as Thibodaux’s FOP lodge!

&& special shoutout to our friends over at Cajun Cafe on the Bayou for their first place win!
