Grow Jackson and Grand River Farmers Market Saturday May 30th will be BEE DAY at the River & Rail Farm Stop. We will be bringing the BEES and setting them in place at 6:45. We plan on working in the hives after market. At that time we will be able to answer questions and show what is happening on the frames. All depending on the attitude of the hives when we open them.

STOCK UP NOW!! We will NOT BEE at the markets next week (June 5, 6 and 7). We will BEE AT Friday and Saturday and at Walker Tavern Market Sunday May 29, 30 and 31.

Working in the yard this afternoon and the HUMMMMMM changed. I thought we had everything under control. BUT nature is always in control. I will see if in can catch them but they are high up in the cottonwood tree. turn the volume up.

Glad this swarm waited for us. We were just starting a bee talk at the Napoleon branch of the Jackson Library. It was hard waiting and hoping they had not gone on. Thanks Peter for the call

Saturdays @ Grand River Farmers Mrket 140 W North St 9-2
Sundays Walker Tavern Farm & Craft Market 13220 M-50 Brooklyn, MI 10-2.
We also have been approved for Senior Project Fresh.

Yesterday was the first fay of spring. So after the Grand River Farmers Market we came home and decided it was time to check the hives. Beautiful sunny afternoon and yes we did find 2 of the queens with out really trying.
