When it’s all said and done,
When I’ve made resolution after resolution after resolution,
When I’ve made promise after promise after promise,
It really all boils down to this.
It really all comes back to this ONE thing.
Jesus.
More of Jesus.
More of His Word.
More of His intimacy.
More of His mercy.
More of Him.
To know that my heart is satisfied by this one thing. Fully captivated and totally enamored by His goodness.
Fully devoted to His steadfast love and trustworthiness.
Knowing that no matter what comes my way, HE GOES BEFORE ME.
That’s really all I want.
Because truthfully, I’ve tasted what the world has to offer.
And time after time and year after year, it leaves me empty. Longing for something more.
A remedy that only He can satisfy.
A longing that only He can fill.
Just give me Jesus.
My Jesus.
He’s more than enough for me.
