When I started this project that is Only Doubles Brick and Mortar, I knew it was going to be hard. I had no idea what was coming. This has been THE HARDEST MONTHS OF MY LIFE. Unfortunately I have to shut down Only Doubles until I open the restaurant. I have no more energy left in me to keep all this up. Thank you all for coming out and supporting my dreams for four years!

RESTAURANT UPDATE:

Things have been wild as of late for me but things are still getting done which is all that matters. It’s most certainly getting harder as we get closer but we are still looking good!

A very big thank you to these two people,who I really love putting in all of their love for all of us to enjoy together very very soon! wxrstbarberever Grace 🤗🥹🤗

So far everything is going as good as possible. The kitchen is very very close, just waiting on some little things but that should be all done next week.

The dining room is coming along better than I anticipated, I was brought to literal tears when I walked in this morning! Thank you wxrstbarberever and Grace for that 😭

When I started this project I knew it was going to be extremely difficult. What I didn’t know was the why? The why is people! People are and will always be the hardest part of anything I ever do in business. Hi, I just wanted to take a quick second to just say THANK YOU!

I have received countless messages, high fives and an amazing amount of help from everyone and truly, at times, it’s overwhelming! Ive said this before, but without my Only Doubles family, I would have never made it this far!

My goal is to have a place that is welcoming and that is supported by the community that it fosters thru hard work, attention to detail, creativity, and most importantly FUN! I know community is a silly buzzword but without it, ODB never makes it this far.

Its been extremely stressful, exhausting and expensive but we will cross the finish line hopefully soon and when we do I promise we will be doing cool s**t with cool people one burger at a time.

Thanks again for supporting my silly little burger business.

I truly never thought this day would ever come! Not because i didn’t believe in Only Doubles, but because it’s been so very hard to get to this exact moment. I finally have the keys to the future home of Only Doubles!

To everyone who has ever stood in line, to everyone who has ever told someone about ODB, and to everyone who has gotten me to this point, THANK YOU SO VERY, VERY, MUCH!!

I can’t wait to begin this process, I literally have dreamed about this since I was a child and I still am in shock but it’s going to be a really fun journey and I cant wait to take you all of you along for the ride!

I came on this trip so that I could try what some say is the best burger in the entire world.

Four plane rides, two train rides and about 9,800 miles later I can finally say Ive had the best cheeseburger in the world. It was a such a whirlwind to just get there but the one thing I can tell you is, my experience at was really made because I got to share some words and an entire burger with a cool guy I met from Sweden, who also was trying said burger for the first time and that was why I didn’t really get any good footage because I was just being present and Im ok with that.

This trip was certainly a trip of a lifetime, I feel like it was sort of a final exam of sorts on this journey that is cooking food for a living. I can’t see myself doing anything else if I’m being honest.

I got to meet so many amazing people from all over the world, I had so many beautiful conversations and I ate some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my entire life!

I needed to get away for a bit A. Because burn out is really real and B. I truly believe that when you travel to places that are foreign to you, you get to learn so much, not only about yourself but also your world view. And finally C. As soon as I get back it’s going to be a tad bit hectic to say the least and I don’t see myself getting away anytime soon. Im so ready for this next chapter of Only Doubles, I cant wait to share more with you as soon as I’m back home. ✌🏽
