SWEET HOME GELATO is CLOSING!! We’re not crying, you’re crying 😭 I’m so grateful for each and every one of you: the big families, the big groups of friends, cute date nights, grandparents and grandkids, the middle schoolers, the high schoolers, the grade schoolers, the little kiddos pressing their faces against the glass, customers that tip with $2 bills just to share something rare with our team - they smile every time they see one, everyone who tries really hard to say stracciatella, everyone who shares their Italy stories, for the foodies who want to pick the perfect flavor combo, for shared moments, for shared stories, the shared love of the special something gelato makes us feel, maybe it’s a shared connection, maybe it’s the indulgence, maybe it’s self care, maybe it’s a connection to Italian tradition and foods made with care and love. Naperville we love you, and your undying love for pistachio, rum raisin, gianduia, and birthday cake. I truly feel your heartbreak when we’re out of pistachio. It’s this small culture and community that I love the most. Thank you Naperville for sharing your moments, smiles, and energy with us. How often in life do you get to see so many happy faces?? We’re so lucky to have seen your happy smiles every day! You are the heart of our store!!! Our team is going to miss you so crazy much! This is a sad time for them too. Many of them have worked here for years and this was their first job. We had our own little family and then you our extended family! It’s going to be so hard to say goodbye!
