Wow!!😮 Batavia has shown up the past few days! Thank you everybody for all the lovely messages and support. ❤️

Last night we closed early after running low on bread. Today we are FULLY STOCKED and ready to go for you guys. We want to make sure everybody can get their last grilled cheese fixes!

I have been dreading writing this post, but with a heavy heart, I need to let everyone know that Everdine's in Batavia will be closing. Our last day for business will be Sunday, September 27th. As my family and I prepare for an international move, we've had to make the tough decision to close our doors.

Having this restaurant in Batavia has been such a wonderful experience. It's been so refreshing to work with a city that truly cares about its small businesses and residents. Thank you for all the support you've shown us throughout our long construction process and time in business. Our Batavia customers have been some of the kindest people I have ever met. Thank you for loving our restaurant and our staff.

And to our amazing staff- wow, you guys have blown me away. I wasn't sure it was possible to love a second Everdine's family as much as the first, but you proved me wrong. Your hard work and dedication has been truly amazing to see. Thank you for the care and heart you brought to Everdine’s every day. I appreciate you more than I can even explain. I know you are all going to do amazing things in life 🫶

So, thank you, Batavia, for making this chapter so meaningful. We hope you’ll stop in and see us before September 27. ❤️

Wow Naperville. Just wow. I am SO blown away by the love and support we received from you during our last week in Naperville. We made more sandwiches each day than I thought was physically possible. You were all so kind and so friendly (and so patient). Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting us throughout the last 10 years.

I have to give a huge shout out to our incredible staff. The way you got us through our busiest week ever, was so impressive 🤗 You were the heartbeat of Everdine's and the best part of our history. To all of our Everdine's fans, it hurts my heart to say that we will be closing our doors permanently in Naperville this Friday, July 17th. We are so grateful for all our wonderful customers who stuck by and supported us through this last decade. It has been such a pleasure getting to know so many of you throughout the years. And to our amazing staff, current and past, getting to know you and watching you grow has been one of the greatest joys of having this business 🫶🥹
Stop in this week to get your favorite grilled cheese one last time in Naperville. And use your gift cards/coupons if you're holding on to any.
