Sputter Creek Pay Lake Sputter Creek Pay Lake is a stocked pond located just outside Nancy, Kentucky. Bait and Tackle. Covered dock with snack bar. Flea Market.

The 1 acre pond is home to bass, bluegill and stocked regularly with Channel Catfish. Covered shelter available for gatherings. Restrooms.



$10.00 to fish, no license required. CATFISH CAUGHT MUST BE KEPT AND WEIGHED AT $2.75/LB. Bass and bluegill are free. Kids 12 and under fish free with paid adult. Sputter Creek Pay Lake is family friendly. Please no alcohol or foul language. Directions: From

Sputter Creek pay Lake would like to thank everyone that came out to help us celebrate our 26th year anniversary on July 3rd and 4th at Sputter Creek Farms
The pay Lake was opened by Donald and Sue Floyd at 7 AM on July 4th 2000 has remained in operation for 26 years. We are starting on the 27th year.
We would also like to think everyone that took apart in our 26th anniversary fishing tournament in memory of Donald Floyd 6/17/30 - 8/22/2013
Our winners were
Karen Eldridge caught the biggest fish
Travis Carrender 2nd biggest fish
Benton Childers most fish on a stringer/basket
Jason Smith won the door prize
Chris Green most fish caught from 4/1/26 to 7/1/26

This Friday and Saturday night we will stay open for as late as anyone wants to fish

We will be celebrating our 26th anniversary this Friday and Saturday, July 3rd and 4th come join us for two days of fun,food, and fishing.
Starting Friday, July 3rd with stocking the pond at about 7:30 AM
We will be doing outdoor cooking barbecue, burgers, hotdogs, and a fish fry along with other foods and snacks
And yes, of course hot apple pies.
 There will be a fishing tournament, honoring the memory of Donald Smith, Floyd (6/17/1930to 8/22/2013)
Whom started the pay lake with his wife, Sue, Floyd, 26 years ago on the Fourth of July.
 Prizes and contest are as follows
Biggest fish first prize $50 second prize $25
Most fish in a basket $50 please no sharing baskets
We have increased the bounty on albino’s to $10
Remember, there are many tagged fish in the lake be sure and check the dorsal fin for a metal tag. There prizes for kids, 12 and under these
are on display. There will also be a door prize be sure and register for this upon arrival.
 and to show our appreciation, there will be a prize for the person that has caught and paid for the most fish from 4/1/26 to 7/4/26
All prizes will be awarded at 8:30 PM Saturday the 4th followed by our annual Fourth of July fireworks over Beautiful Sputter Creek Lake
