Good morning. This will be a long post im sure! Four years ago we set out on our own leaving our job and ready to open our own business. So many ideas and excitement running through our minds. We opened and it was really neat to experience meeting so many people and sharing laughs with them. Hurricanes have come and gone and we always had the help of people right here in our community running to help us. When the dinner or lunch rush was busy as it could be we've had people that just jumped in and gave a helping hand. This community is amazing because of the people that make up the community. Its not easy trying to type this post up. I've retyped it atleast 4 times at this point. This is going to be Starters last week. We've prayed, and spent countless hours weighing out the decision for a good while now. We want to share this week with all our customers enjoying laughs and some food together one last time. We thank everyone so much because without everyone four years would never happen. I've made new friends, even got me a new fishing partner! Learned alot about owning a business and pushed myself to levels i never knew I could achieve. I've learned how to lean on God for guidance and built a stronger faith. Been tested till you thought you would break and became a stronger person than before. Fed people with no money, and watched families grow. As we get ready to step away from the restaurant and begin a new , but not new journey we want nothing more than to share these last few days at the restaurant together! Wednesday we will close down at 8 p.m. unless sold out before then. Sometimes you have to make a decision on what's best for your family and its not easy. This is one of those times. We've been so blessed with the people that surround this restaurant! Memories that i love and I know we will always cherish. I can't leave out our friend ( basically family member) Ashley Oberry , you came in here quiet as a mouse more than two years ago. ( that quietness didn't last long) Whatever the plan was you've been all in. Yall she knew we were closing about a week or two ago and battled some kidney stones and this weekend she refused to be told no, and she will be joining us to close out our final week! So she will probably be a little slower than usual, but I'm pretty sure that even if they had put her in the ground she was still gonna show up! So this week is a celebration of 4 years of memories, friendships made and many laughs. Come join us today at 11! Most importantly Thank You !!! Thank you for four years of being your favorite spot .
