Beautiful tribute to our Mr. James from Loretta Wright- 💔

My friend, my buddy, Mr James went to his Heavenly Home last night. There will never be another Mr James. I worked with him for over 40 years, best fry cook I have ever known. Mr James was the first person Rufus hired. He worked 5 days with the county and 6 nights at the Dunes. I always called him Mr James, out of respect. When I came to Grits Grill, Mr James came with me. No matter what I asked, he was always there, for all the fund raisers and whatever I needed. When someone didn’t show up for work, I would call him and he would always say- I will be right there Retta! He always wanted to know how my family was doing, even the last time I saw him. To know him, was to love him and I did with so did many others. For me there will never be another Mr James. My heart is broken. I’ll love you always. Go rest high on that mountain 💔💔❤️❤️
