🍺🍻 PROST, Y'ALL! This Thursday at Fredonia Brewery, we're celebrating Oktoberfest with GENERAL KNOWLEDGE TRIVIA and a music theme we're calling SONGS ABOUT DRINKIN' AND ACK-UHH-HALL!

We're playing drinking songs from Jimmy Buffett, George Thorogood, Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, AC/DC and more!

Basically, if somebody wrote a song about drinking, getting drunk, or regretting getting drunk, we're probably playing it.

And yes, the German dogs on the flyer are already three b**rs deep. Don't ask who's driving. 🤫

🚨 A FEW REMINDERS:

🕡 Sign-ups start at 6:45 PM. Don't hover around the host table. We'll announce when we're ready!

🍺 First 30 teams only! Have your team name ready and plan to stay for the whole game.

👥 NO TEAM SIZE LIMIT!

👀 Can't hear? Questions are on the screen!

📵 Phones out during gameplay = automatic DQ.

Trivia starts at 7 PM! Come drink some b**r, answer some questions, and celebrate Oktoberfest with us! 🍻

🪲🎸 Trivia Night TOMORROW at South First Bar & Grill in Lufkin! 🎸🪲

Come together, right now... over GENERAL KNOWLEDGE TRIVIA! 🎶

We're taking a trip down Abbey Road with the music of THE BEATLES playing between rounds! From "Hey Jude" and "Let It Be" to "Come Together," "Twist and Shout," and "Here Comes the Sun," we're spinning the hits from the Fab Four all night long!

👀 Don't forget our VISUAL TRIVIA feature! Every question will be displayed on the big screens all around the bar, so you won't miss a thing! 📺

And remember, trivia only happens if people show up to play! So let's PACK THE BAR! Bring your friends, order all the food, and keep those drinks coming. South First can't survive on "All You Need Is Love" alone! 🍔🍻

THIS THURSDAY IS A SPECIAL ONE.

We’re doing Pink Out Trivia at Fredonia Brewery for our friend Michelle, aka Mishi: co-owner of Michelle & James Grimison, proud Pineywood Pirate, FOB (Friend of the Brewery), and most importantly, soon-to-be cancer survivor. 🏴‍☠️🩷

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but this one is personal.

🎶 Our music theme for the night is EMPOWERMENT ANTHEMS: nothing but songs about being strong, fighting back, getting through the bu****it, and refusing to stay down. Because honestly...

F**K CANCER. 🖕🏾

🍺 $1 from every pint sold goes directly to Mishi to help with medical expenses.

🩷 AND WEAR PINK! We want to see the whole brewery covered in it to show Mishi some love. Any team wearing pink gets TWO BONUS POINTS, on top of the two bonus points available from our social media question. That’s four bonus points up for grabs!

And yes, the trivia itself is still GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, so you don’t need to study anything special.

🕡 Sign-ups start at 6:45 PM.
First 30 teams get in. Please don’t hover around the host table before sign-ups. We’ll announce when we’re ready. Have your team name ready and only sign up if you’re staying for the whole game.

No team size limit.
Phones out during gameplay = DQ.

Trivia starts at 7 PM.

Wear pink. Drink some b**r. Raise some money. Make some noise for Mishi.

And let’s remind cancer that it picked the WRONG F**KING PIRATE. 🏴‍☠️🩷💪

🖤🎸 Break out the eyeliner, skinny jeans, and unresolved feelings because tomorrow night at Bottlecap Alley Icehouse Grill, we’re going FULL 2000s EMO between rounds of general knowledge trivia!

Expect My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Panic! at the Disco, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional and more. Basically, music for people whose AIM away message was a cry for help.

📅 Tuesday, October 6th at 7PM

And as always: trivia only happens if people come out to play. We and the Bottlecap Alley staff are working REALLY hard to keep trivia going at this location, and if you don’t show up... trivia goes away. Big sad.

So grab your fellow former scene kids and don’t delay... come play!
