33 Years. One Extraordinary Legacy. ❤️
Some people become part of a company. Others become part of its story.
In September of 1993, Rebecca joined S&P. She was a devoted wife and mother, and being there for her family was her number one priority. She focused on working during the week and having the weekend to spend time and to see them play sports. She found in S&P a place where she could build a career while staying true to what mattered most, and that beginning became the foundation for an incredible 33-year journey.
Over the next 33 years, she grew from server to supervisor, then into management, eventually helping build a role that didn't exist before her. Throughout her career at S&P, Rebecca oversaw Human Resources, Purchasing, and Office Systems, helping create and shape the departments and systems through her attention to detail, accountability, consistency, and incredible commitment to S&P. But her impact cannot be measured by a title or a list of responsibilities.
Rebecca has been loyal. Committed. Trustworthy. Meticulous. Fun. And, quite simply, one of the easiest people to work with. Most importantly, she has always had a remarkable ability to look out for the good of the company and the people who make it what it is. She has done that seamlessly, thoughtfully, and with a level of care that is rare. She has been a mentor, a friend, a problem-solver, a steady presence, and someone so many of us have been lucky enough to learn from and lean on. After 33 years, Rebecca is retiring, and while we are incredibly happy for her and this next chapter, saying goodbye is not easy.
Rebecca, thank you for giving S&P 33 years of your heart, your hard work, your wisdom, and your unwavering commitment. Thank you for helping make this company what it is and for making the people around you better along the way. Your legacy is woven into this place in more ways than you probably realize. We are so grateful for you, so proud to have had you as part of our team, and so excited for you to finally have a little more time for the people and moments you've always put first.
Congratulations on an incredible career, Rebecca! You will always be part of the S&P family. ❤️
