This cool 1939 local elementary school pic has been displayed in our B & B for years (thanks to the late Blanche Newton). The daughter of Shirley Chaney Carstensen (currently of Medford) brought her by Saturday for a walk through the Tea Room & Shirley identified herself & other classmates by name (most are recorded on back of picture!). What a treat to reconnect this 87 year old pic with such a childhood memory!
