Running a bar has taught us a lot about what separates a great sales rep from an average one.
The best reps don’t just sell products. They build relationships. They communicate. They check in. They help promote your business. They bring ideas, opportunities, and support. They become partners in your success.
Unfortunately, that’s becoming rare in this industry.
That’s why we want to give a huge shoutout to two people who absolutely crush it at their jobs.
First, Alan from Southern Crown. Every week, without fail, Alan checks in with us and our partners. He’s responsive, helpful, professional, and genuinely invested in helping Pub International succeed. If every rep operated the way Alan does, this industry would be a whole lot better.
Second, Alyssa Petitto from Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. Alyssa is always on top of things, communicates consistently, follows through, and makes sure we’re taken care of. She’s been an absolute pleasure to work with and is a true example of what a great account manager should be.
To all the reps out there: relationships matter. Communication matters. Showing up matters. Your customers shouldn’t have to hunt you down to get answers or support. The best reps don’t wait for the phone to ring. They stay involved and help their accounts grow.
