If you decide to make this at home, here’s our Sweet & Spicy Bacon Mix:

Ingredients (for a large batch dry mix):
• 1 lb (450 g) light brown sugar
• ¼ cup coarse ground black pepper
• 1–2 tbsp red pepper flakes (adjust to heat preference)
• 1–2 tsp salt (optional, depending on how salty your bacon is)

Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt.
2. Mix well until evenly combined.
3. Store in an airtight container.

To use:
Sprinkle 2–3 tablespoons of the mixture over 1 lb of bacon.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–25 minutes, until caramelized and crispy.

Sweet. Peppery. Slightly spicy. Perfectly caramelized.
