As the owner of Fricano Place, which includes Fricano’s Muskegon Lake, Ted Fricano knows the restaurant business. Ted and his family have been making pizza for over 70 years, using the original recipe his beloved father, Gus, created back in 1949 for authentic Italian pizza using a unique blend of cheeses, spices, and fresh ingredients. The same recipe that garnered Fricano’s the award for ‘#1 Pizza in Michigan’ by the Pure Michigan travel and tourism website. Along with that delicious Fricano’s taste, his restaurant still maintains the warm, inviting atmosphere that Fricano’s patrons have enjoyed for years, as well.
Ted has extended his decades of experience in providing unparalleled hospitality to the public with the many venues in Fricano Place. Along with Fricano’s Muskegon Lake, Fricano Place offers the Event Center, a stunning, 10,000 square foot banquet facility that can seat up to 500 guests. With its open floor plan, outdoor terrace, and exquisite views of Muskegon Lake, Fricano Place makes any event a truly memorable success!
For a more intimate setting, Fricano Place also houses The Hideaway Lounge, an elegant venue that can accommodate anywhere from 16 to 64 guests in comfort and style. It’s ideal for bridal showers, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, anniversary celebrations and many special occasions with family and friends.
For summer family fun you’ll find the Fricano’s Sweet Shoppe, a charming ice cream and dessert parlor filled with treats for everyone, young and old! It’s located downstairs from Fricano’s Muskegon Lake and the varied assortment of goodies will satisfy any sweet tooth! With indoor and outdoor seating, you can stay and enjoy your ice cream and sweets, or take them to go. Fricano’s Sweet Shoppe is also available for special events and birthday parties.
