📢 IMPORTANT BUSINESS UPDATE 📢

Since starting this business earlier this year, we’ve had the opportunity to experiment with different ways of operating and learn what works best for our customers, our business, and our community.

After much consideration, we will be making a few changes beginning this weekend.

🏡 The stand will temporarily be open Friday–Sunday only.

We’ve found that the majority of our customers prefer picking up their orders on weekends, so concentrating our stand hours during that time allows us to spend more of the week baking, prepping, and ensuring the stand is fully stocked with fresh goodies for you to enjoy.

📝 We’re also bringing back weekly menu planning!

Starting this week, we’ll post our menu every Monday for the upcoming weekend.

• Weekly Menu Posted: Monday
• Preorders Close: Thursday at 8:00 PM
• Pickup Available: Friday–Sunday

This gives everyone the opportunity to see what’s coming, plan ahead, and preorder their favorites to guarantee availability before items sell out.

🚗 For our Muscatine-area customers…

We know our stand can be a bit of a drive since we’re located in the country, and we never expect anyone to go out of their way if it’s inconvenient.

To help make things easier, we’ll be planning a Muscatine order drop-off every Sunday. We will likely continue utilizing Ardon Creek Lounge as our pickup location, as we’ve done previously.

⭐ Important Note: These changes do not affect custom ordering. You are still welcome to order any item at any time, and we will continue offering treats for birthdays, parties, events, and special occasions.

We truly believe these changes will allow us to focus more on quality, consistency, freshness, and reducing waste while continuing to serve you the best products possible.

I haven’t posted in several days because honestly, I simply haven’t known what to say. I have been at a complete and utter loss of words.

My heart has been so heavy. I am heartbroken, devastated, and deeply saddened for the family, friends and our entire community. Every day since this tragedy, I have found myself hugging my children a little tighter every night, holding them a little longer and thanking God for moments that so often feel promised when they are not.

We see tragedies such as these on the news. We see it in the headlines. We grieve for those families and communities, but there’s always a part of us that believes this could never happen here. Never this close. Never to people we know.

Before moving to our current home, we lived just two houses down from this family. Our backyards were touching. We saw each other often. They saw our children play in our backyard, as we saw theirs. They were not just names in a headline - they were real people. A real family. They were neighbors. And like many others have said, this is something nobody could have ever imagined.

I wish I had the right words. I wish there was something I could do to lessen the pain, ease the heartbreak or make sense of something that feels so impossible to understand. But there are no words big enough for that.

So, instead, I just want those that are hurting to know that they are loved. They are being thought of. They are being prayed for. They are not carrying this grief alone.

To our community: please hold your loved ones close. Tell them you love them. Check on your neighbors. Extend grace. Offer kindness. Show up for one another. In moments like this, the only way forward is together.

I truly believe that even in the darkest moments, our community is capable of incredible love. I pray we lean on one another, carry one another, and remind those that are hurting that they do not have to walk through this alone.

I love you all. Please love your neighbors. 🫶
