I grew up with my Nana and Auntie Sadie drinking tea..... They both brewed in a silver tea pot that was covered with a tea cozy and needed a strainer to be enjoyed. My mum on the other hand left loose leaf for modern tea bags. These, I later found out were made from the "dust" of whole leaf. I wondered, if this was dust, who is enjoying all those whole leaves? Smart people :-) But lets be honest.

Always a great day at Liquid Leaf ☕💚 The lines were out the door today, and our team absolutely showed up and delivered! We’re so grateful for every single person who waited, supported us, and chose us.

Some people walk into your life for a reason, and I truly believe God sent Esmeralda into mine ❤️

Long before we took over Liquid Leaf, Esmeralda and the Wednesday Ladies were already making this place special. They built friendships here, created memories here, and helped create the sense of community that existed long before we arrived.

When we became the new owners, stepping into an already established community felt exciting but also intimidating. As the new people coming in, we didn’t know what to expect. But Esmeralda was one of the very first people who welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like I belonged.

What started as a customer relationship quickly became something so much deeper.

This business has come with challenges that many people don’t see behind the scenes — the stress, the sleepless nights, the pressure, and moments where I questioned if I was strong enough to keep going. There were moments I was sobbing on the phone, overwhelmed, and Esmeralda stayed. She listened. She prayed over us. She reminded me to lean into faith and helped guide us toward doing what’s right, even when things felt impossible.

She became my spiritual sister ❤️

In a world that sometimes feels disconnected, people like Esmeralda remind me what community truly means. It’s not just coffee. It’s not just matcha. It’s people showing up for each other. It’s kindness during hard seasons. It’s support when someone is struggling. It’s friendship turning into family.

God knew exactly who I needed during this season of my life.

Esmeralda — thank you for welcoming us into this community, for your prayers, your wisdom, your kindness, and for being there during some of my hardest moments. You may never fully know how much your support has meant to me.

Happy Friday announcements from Liquid Leaf! ☕💚

We’ve had a lot of customers ask us to make this post to help give perspective on wait times, so here’s a little heads up from your Liquid Leaf family 🫶

✨ Coffee & Matcha Flights are available Monday–Thursday, with last call at 2:30 PM
✨ Our famous cinnamon rolls are available every Sunday morning
✨ Paninis are made fresh to order and can take about 10 minutes each
✨ Breakfast: 7:30 AM–10:30 AM
✨ Paninis are served: 10:30 AM–1:30 PM
✨ Last call for food: 1:30 PM

As our community continues to grow, we want to be transparent — everything is made fresh, flights take time to create, and our kitchen space is small. We’ve also had new customers message us asking why we can’t just hire more people, and that’s a fair question. The reality is, our kitchen space limits how many people can work at one time.

June marks only our 3rd month in business. We started April with 7 team members, 3 left within the second week, and as of today, we have 16 amazing people helping rotate shifts and serve our community. Last week was also the first time we went viral because of a video, and the amount of support has honestly been overwhelming in the best way possible ❤️

We appreciate your patience, kindness, and support more than you know. We promise we’re giving you our all every single day, learning and growing with every busy day.

A little heads up from your Liquid Leaf family 🫶
Paninis are made fresh and can take about 10 minutes each. If there are a few orders ahead (especially multiple paninis), wait times can be around 20–30 minutes. Flights usually take about 5–10 minutes depending on drink volume ahead of you.

Please be patient. Please be kind. We’re human, and we truly appreciate every single person who walks through our doors and supports us. We promise to give you our all every day — and we promise, it’s worth the wait ❤️

UPDATE! Tomorrow’s a go ☕️💚

After what felt like a never-ending battle with technical issues today, we found a temporary workaround to keep things moving while we work on replacing our system. It’s not the long-term fix we wanted, but it’s enough for us to open our doors and see everyone tomorrow 🫶

We may be a little slower than normal, so we’re asking for extra kindness and patience while we work through the bumps. Trust us — nobody wants this fixed more than we do 😅

We’ve pulled together every resource we have, called in favors, and even had our Fashionista Frank come through by lending us his IT guy to help us out (thank you, Frank ❤️).

And somehow through all this chaos… tomorrow marks our THIRD month anniversary 🥹 Three months of coffee, matcha, friendships, long days, growing pains, and a community that keeps showing up for us.

Well hey! Tomorrow marks our 2ND month anniversary at Liquid Leaf 🫶 Adding that makes it more human and shows your community support too. Here’s the updated version:

Today was one of those days 😅 We spent hours trying to fix technical issues that even IT couldn’t fully figure out… and truthfully, it still isn’t fully fixed. BUT we found a quick fix that should get us through tomorrow 🤞

It may not be perfect, and we may need a little extra patience while we work through some growing pains, but showing up for this community matters to us.

We are using all our resources to make things run smoothly over the next couple of days, and for that, I especially want to thank our Fashionista Frank for stepping in and lending us his IT guy to help us out too 🫶 Community support like this means more than you know.

So… we’ll see you tomorrow? 👀☕️

Never allow anyone to tell you what you can or can’t be. Trust me — I was told I couldn’t do this business because I had no experience. No coffee shop background. No blueprint. Just faith, long nights, tears, lessons, and a whole lot of belief.
