A couple of Cedar Crest fan favorites are back from their winter break: Key Lime Pie and Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip! These are great summertime flavors, and they’re only here for a limited time. Once they’re gone, they’re gone until 2027, so get yours today!

Happy Father’s Day! To all the dads out there, we see you. Here at Small Town Scoop & Eatery, we want to give a big thank you to all the dads by giving you a free scoop of ice cream to celebrate your special day! Thank you for fixing our bikes when they break. Thank you for picking us up when we fall down. And thank you for loving us and supporting us, and always being dad, even when we accidentally set fire to the living room rug. 🙂

To get your free scoop, just come in, let us know you’re a dad, (bonus points if you tell our staff a dad joke) and that’s it! We love you, and we leave you with one of our own dad jokes - where can you learn to make the greatest banana split? In sundae school, of course!

Wow… what an incredible day!

First, thank you. We are absolutely blown away by the support you showed our little shop today. Today was huge, absolutely huge! Between noon and 2:00 PM, we welcomed more guests than we would typically see in an entire day. It was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced, and we’re incredibly grateful!

That said, we know some of you had to wait longer than you should have for your meals. While we were thrilled by the turnout, our kitchen simply wasn’t prepared for that level of volume, and service slowed down more than we would have liked. We simply have never seen so many people in such a short amount of time.

For those of you who experienced longer wait times, we sincerely apologize and appreciate your patience. We learned a lot today, and we’ll be better prepared the next time our community shows up in such an amazing way. We are so proud of our staff for working together like they did, and rising to the challenge, and digging out of our busy lunch rush. Go team Scoopers!

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and most of all, your support. We hope you’ll extend us a little grace and come see us again soon. We promise we’ll be ready for you.

Wow. WOW!!!
Yesterday was our anniversary, and you folks showed up in a way we will never forget.

Like any business, we have those days we compare everything to. “Remember the Jefferson account? That was the biggest thing we’ve ever done!” For us, in our long, long two-year history, 😉 the biggest days have always been Big Muddy Monster Festival Day and Apple Festival Parade Day.

Yesterday beat them both.

So many of you came out for Free Ice Cream Day that it became the busiest day our little shop has ever had. We gave away over $2,500 in ice cream, and we were so happy to be able to give back in some small way as a huge thank-you for all the support you have shown us.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our staff who worked yesterday. Their hard work, patience, and dedication made the day run so smoothly, and we truly could not do what we do without them. We love our staff, and we are so proud to have them as part of our team. And thank you to everyone who tipped them yesterday. All tips go directly into our staff’s pockets, and your generosity meant a lot.

We are open normal hours today, serving up amazing food, delicious ice cream, and all with the same grateful hearts we had yesterday.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for two wonderful years. Thank you for showing up, for cheering us on, for bringing your families and friends through our doors, and for making this little shop feel like something much bigger than just a restaurant - but a place solidly grounded in the town that it serves.

We love being part of this community, and we cannot wait to see what year three brings.
