New Business Monday is back again!! It's pretty great that we get the opportunity to talk about everything that's going on in the community-that being said, if you have something to share with us in the future, please let us know!
Now for the good stuff-The expansion of Prairie Paws Provisions!
If you’ve gotten to know Prairie Paws, you probably already know that the dogs are at the heart of it all. But did you know Prairie Paws has grown into something a little bigger?
Prairie Paws Provisions started as a passion project — a way to share their love of bison and create a way to market locally raised bison. From there, it quickly grew into a collection of products they genuinely use and love, and thought others in our community would enjoy too. From Bison burgers, steaks, and roasts to single ingredient dog treats and goodies to nutritious goodies for yourself, Prairie Paws Provisions has you covered! And if you’ve ever had one of their baked goods, you know those are worth watching for too. 😉
The Bunkhouse is also becoming a pretty unique little farm-stand-style shopping experience. There’s a freezer right inside with everything marked, and when the Bunkhouse is open, you can stop in, grab what you need and leave payment. PPP is hoping to establish a regular open day in the near future.
A website is also in the works, where you’ll eventually be able to shop for bison and other Prairie Paws Provisions. Until then, messaging or calling them — or stopping by one of their events — is the best way to get your hands on their products.
And if you’re wondering what makes all of this so special, it really comes back to the dogs. ❤️
The Prairie Paws crew says the dogs have brought them some of their greatest joy — and many repeat customers have become great friends along the way. Getting to love on the dogs, spoil them and send them home happy and tired is what truly fills their cup.
We love seeing a local business grow organically around something they love — and then finding new ways to share that passion with the community.
Murdo-raised bison, local products, good people and a whole lot of dogs… sounds like a pretty good provision to us. 🐾
Part 2 is coming tomorrow!
