Well y’all, we survived our first day! We had a good little crowd come through, not too packed, but plenty of friendly faces. Thank you to everyone who stopped in, it really means a lot. We're so happy y’all enjoyed our biscuits from John Becton’s recipe, and that our sausage and gravy hit the spot too. Bringing a taste of Poland here with our sausage and red beet soup and hearing folks enjoy it made us really proud. We learned a lot today, and we know we’ve got more to learn, but we’ll keep getting better every day. The menu's small for now, but it’s gonna grow as we find our rhythm. And one more thing, for our gluten-free friends, we want you to have real choices. Several of our breakfast dishes can be made gluten-free, and we’re working to offer the same with our lunch items.

Y'ALL GOT TO GET OVER HERE AND EAT at BB FINCH Farm NOMAD kitchen !
Wow! Food is amazing. Authentic polish sausage, served with caramelized onions and fermented kraut.
Bryce had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are soft with a crispy, buttery edge. Gravy has the perfect amount of spice.
We both left feeling full. For any of you that know my boy, that's saying something. 😂

Hey y'all! We're back in business. Last night we hung that "Now Open" banner, and this morning after a light rain, we got a rainbow right over the place. Feels like a mighty fine sign. We're opening a bit later today, right after 10, just for day one. Normally, it'll be 8 to 4, or until we sell out. We're keeping it fresh and local, real food, y'all. Swing by for some local goods or a good bite to eat.

We’re slowly getting back in the game!

We’re planning to be open again this week, and we’re working hard to get everything ready to start serving food.

Before that, we just have a little catching up to do with our yaupon tea and skincare production.

A big thank you to Cross Bar Farm for helping us source top-quality suet.

We’re also incredibly happy to see that our skincare products and teas are reaching beyond our local community — and that they continued to sell even while our doors had to remain closed.
Our idea with available shipping option appears to be working well, and we're glad to find a way to different states. Maybe we'll be able to go internationally next?

We believe that hard times build strong people, and difficult times show you who your real friends are. This time was no different.

To all of our friends who stepped up, helped us, and supported us — thank you. And to all of our customers, thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.

After more than two weeks away, we are slowly getting back at NOMAD kitchen and BB FINCH Farm Trading Post. It’s not often you get feedback from someone you truly respect for their culinary skills. During my trip to Poland, I left Kevin J. Aiston Kuchnia Kevina i Gosi - Piękna Kuchnia Polska w Mielcu a little piece of East Texas — our Murchison Morning Yaupon Brew — and asked for one thing: an honest opinion. Coming from an Englishman, from a country with a long tea tradition, his words mean a lot to us. Reading Kevin’s review after returning home to Murchison was a wonderful way to end the journey and a reminder that those two weeks weren’t entirely lost. We still have plenty to catch up on after being closed for more than two weeks, but we’re working our way back to our regular schedule and hope to be fully operational again next week. Thank you all for your patience and support. It’s good to be back in Murchison.
