WOW!!!
What an incredible response from our new "Logger" friends. It was good to be back in the kitchen. We had a couple of problems in the kitchen, like a fryer not lighting and a cooler not cooling. A fine tuned machine, we were not. However, it was a Sneak Peak and y'all helped us identify some areas that need attention. We are doing our due diligence this week to make for a better "Logging" experience. We will be open again next Sunday 7/24 for a soft opening. We will add a few more things off the menu for you to enjoy. Sharon Walker, Craig and Jan Blackmon and Holly and I say "Thank You". We hope to see you again real soon. Tell your friends and family. Spread the word and help us grow.

Hello Palate People. It's been awhile. Holly and I, along with Craig Blackmon, Jan Blackmon and Sharon Walker, are creating another restaurant in Edom. Yay!!! It is called Edom Log Cabin. Comfort Cuisine is the style of service. We are having a "SNEAK PEAK" this Sunday from 10-3. Our big to do on Sunday's will be East Texas Fried Chicken. You can eat in or take a box to go. We will also be offering Red Velvet Chicken Strips on a Belgian Waffle. Yep, you read it right. Ohhhh Boyyyyy!!!! We will have a few other things available such as Dutch Baby Pancakes, Roast Beef and Provolone Hoagie, BLT Hoagie and a few other things. There isn't much to see on our new page yet, but go follow us and as if by magic lots of pictures and stories will be popping up. We sure have missed you and we can't wait to serve you again. Give us a heads up if you want a whole bird. Edom Up

It is with so much sadness that I must report that The Palate Dining Room has been asked to leave our spot in Murchison. As for the moment this is all I will say. It was as much a surprise to us as it may be to you. Nonetheless, we will wake up tomorrow and look to the future. As always, when one door closes, another will open. We will post here when that opportunity presents itself. Holly and I are so thankful for all of you we were privileged to meet while in Murchison. We bid you a fond farewell and hope to see you somewhere down the road.
