Hey there y'all, Chef Dez here! Come out and join me at the Murpah Shrine Club this Friday as I will be whipping up some delicious garlic parm chicken fettuccine with broccoli and a side of garlic bread! This event is open to the public! Full salad bar will be available as well as select deserts. They also offer a fully stocked bar to enjoy the drink of your choice with dinner!! Be sure to come out and join us this Friday night! Don't forget to bring your family and friends! My Alfredo may be the featured meal of the night, but they have a wonderful menu all their own as well, available every Friday night!! Again this event is fully open to the public and meals can be dine in to take out!! I look forward to seeing everyone!!

That's right yall this Friday, April 26th, I'll we whipping up some delicious shrimp etouffe and strawberry fosters. Dinner runs from 6pm to 7:30pm! This Friday 3/29/24, I will be at the Murpah Shrine Club, doors open at 5pm. Dinner service will start at 6 and run until 7:30pm. The featured dinner special will be Grilled Blackened Catfish, pepper medley rice, drizzled with my signature smokey aioli & garlic bread, a full salad bar, and dessert for only $15.00. They will also be featuring, Jansen Duncan Music playing from 7pm till 9pm. Come out and enjoy a great fish dinner on Good Friday! Hey there y'all my restraunt may have shut down, but you can still find me once a month Murpah Shrine Club! This month, January 26th I will be featuring bourbon street chicken with a side of maque choux (mock shoe) and garlic toast. Hey there y'all! So as I stated I'm not wanting to give up and hope to make a comeback. The thing is I had sunk everything I had into the first go around and it was doing so well up until the "unfortunate circumstances". So I created a fundraiser in the hopes that I can raise enough to get going again. I would like to thank everyone who has shown their support through all of this and truly hope I can get back to serving yall the food you have come to love soon. Please no negative comments im trying my best here as a single mom of four who had everything I busted my butt for ripped out from under her.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the abrupt closure of Taste of Cajun. Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances my hands have been tied and I have been left with no choice but to close down immediately. I would like to thank all those who showed their support. It is my hope, that in the near future, I can make a come back with some restructuring. Thank you all and like a Phoenix I hope to rise from the ashes once again.

Good morning y'all!! Today is the big day!! For what you ask....well its none other than GUMBO season!! Thats right y'all, gumbo is finally back. So stop on in this afternoon and be sure to grab ya some!!

I would also like to remind everyone that we will be closed Friday, October the 6th, as we will be with our friends at Murpah Shrine Club dishing out our delicious gumbo and whiskey peach cobbler with a side salad!! Dinner runs from 6pm to 7:30pm (kids menu available as well). This event at the shrine club is open to the public so be sure to pop in and visit us😁
