We can do all types of events from business luncheons to wedding receptions. We focus on what the customer wants and pride ourselves on using fresh ingredients and our own recipes.
Cocktail party last week for some of my favorite clients. They appreciate our homemade touches including the stuffed mushrooms, hand-rolled bourbon meatballs, charcuterie boards customized to their preferences, and our peanut butter pie filling with a touch of chocolate. Not shown but still loved was the spinach artichoke dip with chips and toasts❤️.
Fun charcuterie cups and snack mix for a day with meetings and it’s not time for lunch yet! We love to come up with creative ways to help our clients with their events.

Lovely wedding yesterday. Relaxed bride and groom, guests ready to celebrate, and lots of yummy food. Who cares what the temperature is outside?!? We ❤️ clients that come with ideas and trust our recommendations. The bride and groom wanted their guests to be up moving around so we did stations. Soup and toasted cheese bites fit perfectly with a January reception.

Event earlier this week for some fun clients! This is VIP cocktail reception. Dinner was Lemon Garlic Grilled Chicken, Smoked and Sliced Beef Brisket, Roasted Baby Potatoes, and Roasted Vegetable Medley. Salad was spring greens with heirloom tomatoes, baby cucumbers and shaved Parmesan cheese. Dessert was chocolate layer cake with chocolate ganache or vanilla layer cake with mixed berry sauce. Of course no pics of that, as we were busy serving 😊.
Photos of a few different events. I’m the worst at posting the pictures but I’m trying to improve!! Box lunches for days, celebration of Life, fundraisers, meetings, and receptions are some of the things we have been up to lately! Now I need to answer some more emails today 😊.

Salad for days…we delivered our chopped chef salads, grilled chicken with fruit salads and some vegetarian salads to some hard working teachers today! We topped it off with a sweet treat and a bottle of water for a great lunch.
Private event — client requested appetizers for guests to enjoy before they headed to dinner. We served teriyaki meatballs, crab and cheese mushrooms, cucumber smoked salmon bites, spinach artichoke dip, fun charcuterie choices, and some sweet bites to finish.
Many loaves (250!) of pumpkin bread baked and packed for one of our favorite clients today ❤️. The catering kitchen smelled amazing!!

Fun bites for a warm summer evening. Our client held an outdoor reception — the instructions were “small bites and we want it fancier than meatballs and a cheese tray.” So, we created cool bites plated for easy conversation. The bites included shrimp cocktail, herbed goat cheese with pretzel crackers, caprese skewers with a balsamic reduction, watermelon skewers, mini blts, mini fruit tarts, chocolate covered strawberries And fresh fruit.
Family and friends celebrated a 50th anniversary with lots of love, laughs, and of course yummy food! Loved the food choices and how they honored members of their family — thanks for choosing VKA for your celebration ❤️.
Pickle Bar and Caramel Fondue Station were two items this great picked for her open house menu. She added this to the brisket and chicken taco/nacho bar. It was a hit!

Celebration of Life last Sunday at the beautiful North Church Venue.
First Valentine’s Dinner ✅ done at tonight. We had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
So excited!! Items are coming in that I am gathering for my favorite things basket. I am donating this to the quarter auction that benefits this Wednesday night! This is a really fun event ❤️.
Cutest baby shower yesterday for Beautiful mama and Kolton. We served chicken salad, tomato bisque with mini grilled cheese, salad with an orange vinaigrette, spinach artichoke dip, fruit and veggies. Loved the “cutie” theme!
was the perfect setting for this event! The bride and groom set up conversation areas for guests to mingle. We created unique cheese boards for each area plus other appetizers. We then moved on to food stations for the guests to grab bites and still visit. Thanks Abby and Sam! We loved it! ❤️

Loved that this couple trusted the process. The couple and family were fun and so easy to work with to create their vision. We served appetizers, dinner which was filet medallions, grilled chicken, asiago scalloped potatoes, whole green beans, a late night menu (with included chili dogs 😊) , and even brunch food for the next day! was the perfect setting ❤️.
