We have a lot of farmer friends that do popcorn, corn, and soy beans and have been itching to get in the fields, start working ground, and get their crops planted. The rain has been brutal this year, and we know you’ll be spending every dry day and night in the fields until it’s done. We’d like to offer any farm family and crew 20% off Prepped orders to keep meals on hand that are quick and easy to eat on the go. We are all set up at Ball Brothers Foundation with some heavy hors d’ oeuvres. Florentine stuffed mushroom caps, sausage stuffed mushroom caps, Asiago garlic cheese dip, French onion meatballs, mini crab cake sliders with remoulade, chacturie, beef skewers with peppers and onions, bacon jam tarts, petite fors, crudités, fruit and antipasto skewers. Next up we were at the The Lodge at River Valley Farm and it was absolutely stunning! We provided artisan cheese board with Gouda, Asiago, sharp aged cheddar and blue cheese, crudités, spinach and artichoke dip, homemade bruschetta, and a fully loaded pasta bar complete with homemade Alfredo, marinara, and basil pesto sauces, Italian seasoned chicken, meatballs, peppers, onions, zucchini seasoned broccoli, sautéed mushrooms, salad, Italian bread variety and best of all— the flavored tea and lemonade bar. We have a special Prepped client that is soy intolerant, allergic to tree nuts, gluten and strawberries. We were able to prepare allergen free meals for her family and they turned out tasty! Our client said “it sounds so silly, but this is the first time in years I’ll eat complete meals for dinner”.

Pick up for Monday May 6th is scheduled as usual, but please read the following regarding next week:

The whole reason we launched our meal prep side of the business was to allow you all to spend more time together as a family, by offering convenient healthy and easy to heat meals for you all to enjoy in your crazy schedules. The idea came to life and has thrived for the last 13 weeks. With next weekend being Mother’s Day, I, along with staff, would like to take the Sunday off and enjoy my daughter—my every reason for this business in the first place. I’ve committed to preparing meals made with love every Sunday for the last 13 weeks and we will continue as usual for pick up on Monday May 20th. We hope this doesn’t create too much of an inconvenience for anyone and certainly hope you understand the decision. We can’t thank you enough for your continued support in this crazy endeavor. We will launch week 14 menu next week, for pick up Monday May 20th, but watch for specials next week as we will still be in the kitchen Mon-Fri fulfilling catering orders.
