I’m so thankful I got to be a small part of the Kids From Wisconsin VIP event tonight.

Walking into Mukwonago High School and seeing Aidan and Lily was one of my favorite parts of the day. I love that my businesses have given me the opportunity to be involved in so many local events and meet so many incredible people in our community. I never take that for granted.

I also couldn’t help but think about my Grandma Edith Smith. Every year she took my cousins and me to the Wisconsin State Fair to watch Kids From Wisconsin (different kids, of course 😂). She would have absolutely loved knowing I got to be part of it today. It just felt like one of those full-circle moments

Most days, it’s just me behind the scenes wearing all the hats. We’re a small business, and while we bring in extra help for larger events, my husband and our girls are my biggest supporters and the best helpers I could ask for.

Everyone seems to be talking about the wedding from last weekend… but I keep thinking about a wedding from a year ago .

A year ago today, I had the honor of being part of Brooke & Mitchell’s wedding, and it truly was one of those days that stays with you.

It wasn’t just a beautiful venue or the details—it was the love, the family, the laughter, and the speeches that reminded me why I love what I do. Being trusted with such an important day is something I’ll never take for granted.

I had such a wonderful time celebrating the theme “A Little Cutie is on the Way.” Everything was incredibly cute, and I truly loved the venue—Aman’s in Mukwonago is a fantastic choice for a shower or party.

Mama Bear Catering prepared the food.
RonDaVu created the amazing desserts.
Sweet Bakes made the cookies for guests to take home.
Macie Made Events handled the beautiful balloons. Sorry no pictures but trust me they were gorgeous 🥰
