Started a new method for me to root avocado seeds and so far I’m 7 for 7. Scaling the skin off the seed and soaking for 24 hours. Wrapping in a few layers of paper towel and sticking in a ziplock for a few weeks and presto chango I have rooted avocados.

To our valued Leaf & Ladle friends,

We will sadly close our doors at the conclusion of business at 8:00 pm on Friday October 18th.

It has been an emotional couple of weeks and Diane & I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of the positive comments and well wishes over the last week and a half.

We need to close as of the 18th so I can begin winding things down and preparing for my new venture. I’ll be happy to share the details as soon as I am able…..again, it’s all good and I don’t want anyone to be sad, instead, please be happy for me!

Our business hours will continue this week as normal and I hope to see as many of you as possible to say goodbye, “no soup for you?”, but most importantly….THANK YOU for 5+ amazing years. I have come to meet and know so many wonderful people from Mountain Top, Hazleton, Drums, Conyngham and the valley who made Leaf & Ladle their choice for Lunch and Dinner. We are humbled by your loyalty and wish you all the best!
