Did you know The Baker District was the first Entertainment District established in the state of Arkansas? 🥇🏛️

Back in 2019, Mountain Home paved the way for the rest of the Natural State by passing the very first ordinance to allow a downtown open-container district. Since then, major cities all over Arkansas—like Little Rock, Hot Springs, El Dorado, and Rogers—have followed our lead to build their own vibrant, walkable downtown spaces.

If you're wondering how it works or need a refresher on the rules, here is the breakdown for keeping it safe, legal, and fun while you stroll the district:🍹

-The Walk-And-Sip Rules:The Hours: You can enjoy an outdoor drink between 11:00 AM and midnight.
-The Cup: Your beverage must be in a designated paper or plastic cup provided by an authorized district business. No outside drinks, glass bottles, or cans are allowed on the streets.
-The Limit: You can carry one drink at a time, up to 16 fluid ounces.
-The Boundaries: Feel free to stroll between your favorite downtown shops and eateries, but keep in mind that public parks, plazas, and government buildings are excluded from the open-carry rule. You can find directories on our signs downtown!

Park the car, support our local spots, and enjoy the freedom of the state's trendsetting downtown hub! 🌞
