We are so sad to announce that our cruise in has been rained out Aug 17th 2026. We will still be open to serve up your dinner time favorites.

However, next month, September 21st 2026 4pm-8pm will be the last one for this year!

MVPD is bringing out their armored vehicle 🚓, and MVFD is bringing out their newest fire truck 🚒 for a little "Touch a Truck" event. We may even have a bounce house again 👀

We can't wait to see you there!

Pictured is Hershberger’s Bakery, Fresh Strawberry Pie. Homemade crust, with an interior layer of cream cheese filling; topped with real, fresh strawberries, swimming in sweet, strawberry gelatin.

We get asked all the time, “do you make all your pies in house?”
Some pies we do. Peanut Butter Cup, Oreo, Fruit Pizza, Cheesecake and Strawberry Shortcake are all in house.

However the baked fruit pies, fresh peach and fresh strawberry pies are from the amazing Hershberger’s Bakery in Danville. They are local, Amish made, fresh baked and delivered twice a week to the diner.

Swing in, grab a slice of strawberry pie and maybe take home some of Hershberger’s other goodies!

With the end of Summer closing in we are gearing up for the beginning of the school year and fall hiring frenzy.

What is your dream car?

Tonight was a perfect night to “Cruise In” to Southside Diner! The weather was great, the food was great and the company was fantastic!
