We’ve been quite while working over at The Rodeo Rose but this past week we loaded up the trailer and headed south to San Antonio for a little rodeo action!
Braxton entered in the Chute Do**in & had a runner of a steer but still got him down, the grit in that kid is something! He nosed his ribbon calf, got THIRD Heading in Team Roping and for the first time ever he heeled one down (well legged it but I’m still proud)!

Overall it was a great week and he came home with a check! Super thankful for his partners, support system, and all our friends/ family that were there to help in any sort of way!

We will see you next year San Antonio, it was fun!

Region V Junior High Rodeo season has officially come to an end, and to say it was one for the books is an understatement.

From the fun, food, and fellowship… to contestant vests, top-quality saddles, custom buckles, and $30,000 ADDED money to our finals — this region showed up and showed OUT.

Every parent, volunteer, board member, and contestant played a part. But none of this would be possible without our incredible sponsors and the Queen herself, Mrs. Martha Josey. Your support means more than you know.

Thank you to every single person who kept the wheels turning — all for the love of these kids and this sport.
