All of our sandwiches can be ordered in a basket that includes your choice of either french fries or onion rings, and coleslaw or apple sauce. Cash and local checks are accepted and we have an ATM machine inside the restaurant. Come visit this landmark of Mount Pleasant for over 50 years!!

To our beloved Jons Country Burger Family,

There are no words big enough to express the gratitude in our hearts as we spend our final moments with you all. For nearly 69 years, you didn’t just support a small family owned restaurant— you made it a home, a tradition, a legacy and a place filled with memories that will live on forever.

Over the past few days, the love you showed us has been overwhelming in the most beautiful way. The lines, the stories, the hugs, the messages, and the shared memories reminded us why Jons Country Burger meant so much — not just to us, but to this entire community.

Even after several unplanned trips to the store, we have officially run out of supplies, a true reflection of the incredible outpouring of support we never could have imagined.

It is with heavy hearts, but endless gratitude, that we share we have officially closed our doors for the very last time.

This goodbye is one filled with love, pride, and a deep appreciation for every single person who ever dined in, drove up, introduced a new generation or two, had a first date, got engaged, allowed us to be a part of your health struggles, or made us part of their lives in any way!

Thank you for your loyalty, your dedication, and your love — not just these past few days, but for generations. Serving you has been one of the greatest honors of our lives, and Jons Country Burger will forever live on because of you!

🚨 Temporary Closure Update 🚨

We have temporarily closed our doors today — this does not mean we are permanently closed. The overwhelming outpouring of love and support this morning has truly meant the world to us ❤️
Because of the incredible volume of business, we have had to step away to restock supplies, and even then we are still running low. In addition to previously mentioned items, we are currently out of pork and shrimp. For the remainder of the day, we will also only be able to offer single-patty burgers.

Moving forward today, we will be dine-in only. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate carry-out or car tray orders due to the overwhelming amount of business on our last day.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank each and every one of you for your patience, understanding, and incredible support. We truly could not do this without you, and we are beyond grateful. 💙

💛 Our Final Day 💛

We will be opening one last time on Friday, January 23rd at our normal time, 11:00am. We’ll be open until 5:00pm or until we sell out, whichever happens first.

At this time, we are sold out of:
ham, cheese curds, shakes, Boston Coolers, Brown Cows, and pineapple.

As we approach our final day, we want to say thank you — truly and deeply — for allowing us to be part of your lives and this community for almost 69 years. Serving generations of families has been an absolute honor.

The overwhelming love and support we’ve received over the past few days has meant more to us than we can express. Your kind words, shared memories, and continued support have reminded us why this place has always been so special.

We have closed early tonight to take inventory after such a busy and wonderful day spending time with our amazing community 💛 Thank you for all the love and support today!

We’ll reopen tomorrow at 11am and will be open until inventory runs out. See you then!

We are deeply grateful for the incredible outpouring of comments on our post yesterday—and for everyone who came out to support us last night! ❤️

We sincerely apologize for any delays in service. The turnout was far beyond what we ever expected, and while we’re so thankful, we appreciate your patience as we worked through the rush.

Good news: we’ve added extra staff today to better accommodate all of our amazing customers 🙌

A quick heads-up as well: once we run out of food, we’re out. That means we’ll be closing at that point rather than waiting until our scheduled closure date of Saturday the 24th. So if you’re planning to stop by, we recommend coming sooner rather than later!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jon’s will be closing its doors on Saturday, January 24th.

Since 1957, it has been our absolute honor to serve this community. Your patronage, loyalty, and support over the decades have meant more to us than words can express. You didn’t just support a business—you helped build a legacy, and for that, we are forever grateful.
