𝐎𝐮𝐭-𝐨𝐟-𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬… 𝐰𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮.
About 80% of our clients come from out of town for our VIRAL and WORLD Famous Mystery Tattoo vending machines.
The #1 thing we get asked (every single day) is: “𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰?”
MST owners, Chris + Kylee, have been townies for years, and these are our personal favorites—aka your Mount Pleasant treasure map while you’re here getting tattooed.

The Ginkgo Tree
Looking for a place to lay your head while you’re in town? Skip the big-box hotel vibe and stay somewhere that actually feels like a getaway.
The Ginkgo Tree is straight-up beautiful—elegant without being stuffy, full of charm, and the kind of place that makes your stay feel special. Think cozy luxury, gorgeous details, and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding after a full day of exploring downtown (or getting tattooed).
If you’re coming in for the weekend and want something memorable, relaxing, and very Mount Pleasant… this is the move.

Outskirts Cafe
If you’re staying the night and need breakfast that actually hits, nothing beats The Outskirts. Bob is the chef, and you can count on Chris and Lori to be serving you with smiles.
Get the sweet cream pancakes, grab a good cup of coffee, and if you end up there at lunch… their burgers are hands-down some of the best we’ve had.

Ignite Donuts
You can taste the care in everything they do— Owner and cook- Casey puts his heart, soul, and faith into that place, and it shows the second you walk in. He’s picky in the best way: organic ingredients, quality across the board, and zero shortcuts, which is exactly why those donuts hit like they do. They’re gourmet without being pretentious… just straight-up worth it.
And don’t sleep on the savory stuff—the paninis are unreal. Perfect grab-and-go before your appointment, or a solid lunch that’ll keep you going all day.

Dog Central
Want to cross another bucket-list stop off while you’re here for a mystery tattoo? Dog Central is within walking distance of our doors.
Dozens of hot dogs to choose from, huge servings of fries, and it’s the spot a lot of people recognize from Man v. Food. Tell Paul we sent you.
Kylee’s favorite: Elote Fries (trust).

Max & Emily's Eatery
If you want a lunch that’s fast but doesn’t feel like “sad road food,” this is our go-to. They’ve got a massive menu of gourmet sandwiches at non-gourmet prices, and we swear we try a new one every time.
We can’t stop ordering the #85 “The MAC Champs.”

Vin Trofeo's
Right around the corner and perfect for a cozy date. It’s a beautiful little Italian spot that makes their dough and pizzas from scratch, and the vibe is quaint in the best way.
Ask for Chloe or Miles and they’ll hook you up with a drink that fits your mood.
We love the $5 calzones on Tuesdays, but honestly… that salad bar is chef’s kiss.

The Bird Bar & Grill
If you want after-hours fun but don’t want to go far, head to The Bird. It’s a true townie bar with good food, good prices, and a killer whiskey sour. Plus darts + pool tables if you’re trying to make a night of it.
𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙗𝙞𝙜 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙮)
The Twisted Fork
We’ve got a lot of love for Twisted Fork—started as a food truck, now a full-time restaurant on Mission. The menu is creative, the flavors are bold, and it’s the kind of place where you end up saying, “Okay… I need to come back and try the other stuff.”

Mt. Pleasant Mancino's
Before you head back out of town, swing by Mancino’s. Joe makes the best grinders in town, and he’s always adding new items to keep up with what people are craving. Perfect “road food” that doesn’t disappoint.
