🇩🇪 THIS WEEKEND: SAUERBRATEN! 🇩🇪
We may be celebrating Oktoberfest, but this weekend we’re taking a little trip north from Bavaria!
Sauerbraten is one of Germany’s great regional classics, particularly associated with the Rhineland. Beef is marinated for several days in a mixture of vinegar, w**e and spices, then slowly braised until wonderfully tender and served with its distinctive sweet-and-sour gravy.
At Nick’s, we serve ours with Spätzle and red cabbage - proper German comfort food for fall.

IT’S NATIONAL COFFEE DAY!
And we think the Europeans have the right idea: coffee isn’t something to rush. It’s something to sit down and enjoy.

Many of you know already that we take our coffee specialties very seriously at Nick's! Our Latte is served European-style in a glass, with those beautiful layers of rich espresso and creamy steamed milk - almost too pretty to stir. Almost.

So after your Schnitzel, Spaetzle or Oktoberfest feast, stay a little longer, order a latte and enjoy the very European tradition of lingering over a good cup of coffee.
