A little look back at last week and what’s coming up this week! 🍕

Thursday was a beautiful fall day at Island Park. We got to see so many of our regulars, and it’s always special to see familiar faces come back week after week. We’re so thankful for everyone who stops by and supports us!

Friday night we had the privilege of catering Hannah & Dominic’s wedding rehearsal. Even with the light rain later on, it was such a fun evening of celebrating with their family and friends. They even had karaoke, which made for a pretty memorable rehearsal! 🎤🍕 Thank you, Hannah & Dominic, for letting us be part of such a special time as you get ready for your big day. ❤️

🌧️ Farmers Market Update 9/19

We were hoping to be downtown at the Farmers Market today, but with the dreary, chilly weather sticking around, we’ve decided to sit this one out.

The cold temperatures make our dough especially difficult to work with, and we’d rather wait for a better day than serve you anything less than the pizza you know and love. 🍕❤️

🍕 We just finished our last week of four events in a row!

Things are starting to slow down a little as we head toward the end of the season, which honestly feels a little strange after being so busy all summer. We’re down to three events a week now, with just four more weeks of pizza!

Last week we got to serve at some really great events:

🌱 Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market — Thank you to everyone who came out for pizza and continues to make the market such a fun part of our week. We love seeing all of our regulars!

❤️ Harvey’s — Harvey's has been supporting us since the very beginning, and we are so grateful for them. They have always been incredibly generous and welcoming to us, and it means a lot to have had their support throughout the years. We truly appreciate you!

💍 Lacy & Branden’s wedding — Congratulations to the newlyweds! Their wedding was such a fun one to be part of. It was held at a really cool hunting club, with a live band that was absolutely amazing, and the whole evening had such a relaxed, joyful feel. It honestly felt less like a formal wedding and more like a big group of friends getting together, eating good food, listening to great music, and just having a really fun evening together. We loved being part of it! Thank you, Lacy & Branden, for letting us help feed your friends and family on such a special night. ❤️

🎓 Laura & the MSU Engineering Class — We realized this was our sixth year catering with MSU! Six years! Laura also shared something with us that really touched us: some of her Italian students have told her that our pizza reminds them of home. ❤️ For us, that is such a special compliment. Knowing that our pizza can bring back a little piece of home for someone, even when they’re here so far away, is exactly the kind of thing that makes what we do feel meaningful. Thank you, Laura, for continuing to have us back year after year!

Another busy week in the books for The Pizza Forge! 🍕🔥

A big thank you to Phil and all the farmers who attended his annual Seed Lunch last Tuesday! We’ve been lucky enough to cater this event for multiple years, and we truly appreciate being invited back each year. 🌱

Thank you to everyone who came out to our four public events this week, including the Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market on Thursday & Saturday. Thanks to Jessica at Nature’s Chain of Lakes for inviting us to the campground, and Les with CAMS for having us at the Air Show! ✈️

We’ve attended the Air Show for multiple years now, and one of our favorite things is seeing so many familiar faces who come back year after year for the pizza. ❤️ It is always an event that we look forward to.

And, as always, thank you to everyone who continues to support The Pizza Forge — whether you’re a regular, a longtime customer, or just discovering us for the first time. We appreciate every single one of you!
