“$5 for 5 Fridays” is back! From Sept. 5 to Oct. 3 a $5 donation provides fresh fish for Pantry guests.

is here and it's about taking action toward a hunger-free future. Here are ways you can help through The Pantry’s events and partnerships this month:

➤ Food Drives (Sept. 20, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.): Collection drives will take place at &SonsMarkets in Armonk, Bedford, and Millwood; Stop & Shop Mount Kisco, ShopRite of North Bedford Road, Mount Kisco; and

➤ Shopping for a Cause: Local businesses are giving back to The Pantry in creative ways:

•We Are OHHO and Bedford: Launching a yearlong partnership with proceeds from pizza sales and register round-ups.
•The Ambleside Pub, Mount Kisco: Pouring its specially crafted cask blonde ale, “Fight Hunger.” For every $11 full pint and $6 half pint sold, the Pub will donate $2 and $1, respectively.
• Exit 4 Food Hall: Donating 10 percent of orders when you mention The Pantry.
•Four Seasons Flower Shop: Petals with Purpose! For every special bouquet sold in September, $5 will be donated to The Pantry.
• Mt Kisco Seafood: Running its “$5 for 5 Fridays” from Sept. 5 to Oct. 3. A $5 donation provides fresh fish for Pantry guests.
• Stone Fire Restaurant, Mount Kisco: Donating proceeds from a featured Small Bites dish every day in September.

➤ Community Events: The Pantry will be at Mount Kisco’s Septemberfest and New Castle Community Day on Sept. 13, sharing information and inviting the community to get involved.

🌟 In celebration of Hunger Action Month and our incredible community’s dedication to combating hunger, we are thrilled to spotlight Mt Kisco Seafood, located at 477 Lexington Avenue, Mt. Kisco.

Visit Mt. Kisco Seafood on Friday, September 6, and every Friday through October 4 for their annual MKIFP “$5 for 5 Fridays!” With your donation of $5, Mt. Kisco Seafood will donate fish to MKIFP. It’s a simple way to make a big impact!
