As the fair comes to an end, one of the most meaningful traditions happens on the very last day — the livestock sale.

For those who may not be familiar with it, the livestock sale is the culmination of months and months of hard work by our local 4-H and FFA youth. These kids have spent countless hours feeding, caring for, training, and loving their animals. They’ve learned responsibility, patience, dedication, and what it truly means to work hard for something.

When they walk into that sale ring, they aren’t just bringing an animal with them. They’re bringing months of early mornings, late nights, lessons learned, challenges overcome, and memories made.

This year was especially meaningful for GRABB Catering, as we were blessed with the opportunity to participate in the livestock sale and support some of these incredible young people.

As a family-owned business, we believe that being part of a community means giving back to the community that supports you. Agriculture is such a huge part of who we are, and we are proud to support the young people who will carry it forward.

There is something pretty special about watching these kids work so hard, seeing their pride when they walk into the ring, and knowing that our community comes together to say, “We see you. We’re proud of you. And we believe in you.”

We are so thankful that GRABB could play a small part in that this year. It reminded us once again why supporting our local youth, agriculture, and community is so important to us.

To every 4-H and FFA member who showed an animal this year — we are proud of you! You worked hard, you learned a lot, and you should be incredibly proud of what you accomplished.

And as we close out fair season and start looking toward the holiday season, we’d love for you to keep GRABB Catering in mind!
