Hey everyone — I have big news to share!
After six wonderful years serving up sweet, savory, and soul-warming crepes in the heart of Mount Dora, Claire’s Creperie is turning a new page. While change is always bittersweet, this transition is filled with promise — and gratitude.
Over the years I have worked hard to create a space rooted in family tradition, fresh ingredients, and genuine care. Our “Crepes for a Cause” program channels proceeds to local nonprofits and has been a meaningful part of my journey.
I have loved partnering with some amazing local businesses: blueberries from Amber Brooke Farms, strawberries from Sunsational Farm, peaches from Graham’s U Pick, coffee from The Coffee Snob, balsamic from The Mount Dora Olive Oil Company — these aren’t just menu items, but stories of partnership.
Handing over the reins is hard but I believe I am leaving the creperie in caring hands. The new owners are committed to maintaining the heart of what I have built — the recipes, the welcoming atmosphere, and the community-first mission — while bringing fresh energy and ideas for the next chapter.
To Jojo, Jesse, and the entire crew who have worked so hard beside me in this journey: thank you for every “Monte Cristo,” every “Croatian,” every late-night brainstorming session over batter, and every smile you’ve put on a neighbor’s face. Your passion turned thin pancakes into memories.
And to the community: thank you. Whether you visited once or weekly, you helped shape Claire’s Creperie into what it is. I am so incredibly grateful for all the love and support. You welcomed me with open arms, sustained my 6 month old baby business through a pandemic, and have been the reason we have continued to thrive all these years! Make sure to stop in this week and say hello to the OG crew and give a warm welcome to the new owners who will be transitioning in come December!
Here’s to the next six years — may they be as rich, warm, and buttery as the crepes we love.
💜Claire
