A blood drive is rolling into Eden Abbey Brewing Community this month — with a few extra thank-yous for donors.

The OneBlood Big Red Bus will be at Eden Abbey Brewing in Mount Dora on Thursday, June 11, from 2 to 6 p.m., giving the community a convenient way to donate blood right in the heart of town.

All donors will receive a $20 eGift card, a sunshade, a pint of beer coupon, and a wellness checkup that includes blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening.

Eden Abbey has become one of Mount Dora’s go-to community gathering places, known for its welcoming brewpub atmosphere, live music, craft beer, food, and regular events that bring people together. This time, the gathering comes with an even bigger purpose.

According to OneBlood, only 3% of those who are eligible actually donate blood — making local drives like this an important opportunity to help meet a constant need.

Appointments are encouraged. Scan the QR code on the flyer or visit oneblood.org/donate-now and use sponsor code 74818.
