👀 ☕️What is Chef Gianni making?

With roots in northern Italy, particularly the Veneto region, where the modern version became famous. Its name comes from the Italian phrase meaning “pick me up,” a nod to its coffee and rich, indulgent ingredients.

One of our kitchen team members, River, is currently enrolled in the culinary program at his high school. Not only is he a student in Lake County Public Schools, but he also works after school with us at Cafe Gianni.

We couldn’t be more proud to see this post and watch River continue to grow his skills and pursue his passion for the culinary arts.

Hello Fall, even though it still feels like a sauna!🎃🍂

One of our fan favorited dishes has returned to Café Gianni for the season!

Our pumpkin ravioli is filled with creamy mascarpone cheese and pumpkin, paired with succulent shrimp and finished with a beautiful butter and sage sauce. All the Fall Feels!

If you’ve had it before, you already know. And if you haven’t… this might be the perfect time to try it. ❤️

Busy day at Cafe Gianni! We have a big lunch catering going out today, so here’s a little peek at one of our signature dishes.

Our sacchettini pasta with shrimp (featured is the special sauce), filled with pear and cheese. Yes, pear and cheese! It may sound a little unusual, but trust me… it is absolutely delicious and is my favorite. (Yes, Chef Gianni's wife here so maybe I am a little biased.) The combination of flavors is something you just have to try!

Monday doesn’t have to mean staying home for dinner. In fact, it’s a great night to get out and enjoy a delicious meal, especially when there are only a handful of restaurants open in Mount Dora. And...finding parking is much essier!

Cafe Gianni is open Mondays, and tonight might just be the perfect night to join us for one of our delicious ossobuco. Slow-braised, tender, and full of flavor, it’s the kind of dish that makes an ordinary Monday feel a little more special
