We're ruled by the seasons here in Maine.
Summer arrives and leaves so quickly that each day feels like a beautiful gift. Lobsters are pulled straight from beyond the shore and cooked in our shack as the smoke slowly rises. We watch the boats bob in the water while we sip on cocktails with a side of blueberry pie. The way life should be.

We got a text from Chris and his crew aboard the Miss Alice (who we get our lobsters from) showcasing a pretty hefty lob...

We got a text from Chris and his crew aboard the Miss Alice (who we get our lobsters from) showcasing a pretty hefty lobster they caught. Here in Maine, lobsters with a carapace of over 5 inches must be thrown back into the water.
So thankfully the crew took this photo for us to share and then put him right back into the water! ♥️🦞
