We've been roasting coffee for our community since 2017. Over the years, that has taken many forms!

We began at the local Farmer's Market were we sold whole bean coffee as well as cold brew. Then we transitioned to pop-up shops and to a more long-term location at Vintage Collections on Market Street. This is where we hit our stride and got to know so many of you loyal customers. After making the decision to close the shop, we continued roasting for our own home as well as family and friends. We were able to supply another local coffee shop with their day-to-day espresso beans for some time even while we lived in another state!

As our children have gotten older and become interested in an entrepreneurial life, we've been able to use our coffee knowledge to give them some footing and trying their hand at many different aspects of business. This, of course, is thanks to our many customers that stay tuned in to when we are roasting!

Now, the time has come again for more change and new goals. Our family of seven, with children ranging from 2 to 14, is now running Handsome Rooster Coffee as a family business! Our kiddos are involved in lots of ways from meticulously roasting the beans to cheerful and prompt deliveries. Does this mean there may be mistakes made? Of course. But our end goals are no longer what they were. We want to foster learning and entrepreneurial growth right here in our home. We want to model service to our community and buying local.

If that's something you are excited about, we hope you will check out or website! It will be changing over the next few months (as we teach web design😅) but the needed info is there. We are beyond excited about what the Lord has in store for our family through this venture!
