I have been putting off this post, because it's so hard to accept that what I'm about to say is actual reality.
I have closed Mrs.D's Grill and Take Out!
When I opened, I thought that I would be offering some great food to the community of White Plains and surrounding towns. I never in my life imagined that I would meet and love so many wonderful people and their families. So many have impacted my life in a very big way, people that I consider family, and will always hold near and dear to my heart.
I believe God always has a plan. We might not know what it is at the time, but we realize it later. There were some days that were hard, so very hard to make it through, but it was on those days that it was the people that came into Mrs.D's with your smiling faces and encouraging words that gave me strength. The amount of love that was shown to me and my kids is more than I could ever have imagined. I can't even begin to express how much I appreciate you all for supporting me and my kids on this journey. I had many obstacles that I had to overcome, but with the help of some special people in my life, we made it through.
So now it's time to move on to the next chapter in my life. While it saddens me to know that I will not see all the wonderful people that I have grown to love, I hope we can still stay in touch. I'll leave this page open and please feel free to message me anytime.
