🤵‍♂️Tuxedo Alley is open during SoG and Somm Closet hours!

🥗Grab and go available at the store and Foothills Coffee Shop, Northern Brew, and The Balladeer Hotel!

We are booked this Saturday and Sunday with private events. Get your orders in for the week before we are booked!!

What a week. 🤍

We are so incredibly thankful for all of the love and support you’ve shown us during the opening of Tuxedo Alley. Seeing so many familiar faces—and hearing the stories and memories this space brings back—has meant more to us than we can say.

But you may be wondering… Why Tuxedo Alley?

If you ever rented or purchased a tuxedo in Mount Airy, chances are it came from F. Rees. If you went to prom, attended a wedding, or had a fancy night out, you probably found yourself at F. Rees beforehand.

For generations, the tuxedos lived in the basement of their downtown store, with a door leading right out into the alley.

That little alley holds a lot of history.

For 80 years, F. Rees played a significant role in our downtown, helping bring people into the district, supporting local commerce, and becoming part of countless special occasions and memories.

So when we had the opportunity to bring new life to this space, Tuxedo Alley felt like the perfect name.

It’s our little way of paying homage to a beloved local business, the people behind it, and the history of downtown Mount Airy. We hope Tuxedo Alley becomes a place where new memories are made while honoring the ones that came before us.

Thank you for being part of it. We’re so grateful to be here. ❤️

It’s Saturday and it’s going to be a beautiful day! Holiday weekend, shopping downtown, checking out the brand new 🍇Tuxedo Alley🧀

We are open 10-7 today (yes until 7pm!!!) and we are filling the case with boxes, boards, snacks, and treats! We have umbrellas out back, the alley has a nice breeze, and the sun goes behind the buildings right after 3:00 to give us some relaxing shade⛱️

Come grab a new evening bites board, enjoy a glass of wine from The Somm Closet and relax today! We can’t wait to see you all!
