Reason 571 we are closed on Saturdays 😆🥰

We got to take a ride today on an old passenger train with our two grandbabies (along with our daughter, her husband and our son).
It went from Springdale, AR to Van Buren, AR and back.
We had a great day AND somehow we got them both to go to sleep on the way back!

Gosh. I hate to see this.😔
We love Darrell and Mugsy's!
We would often meet our son there, when he was a student at Oklahoma State.
And Darrell would always remember us! 🥰
Honestly, much of Cafe75 was inspired by him and his restaurant.
We are thankful they all made it out safely, and we wish them all the best! ❤️

When we started this restaurant, we thought it was going to be just a lazy, little small-town cafe. We had NO IDEA people would drive from other towns to eat at our restaurant.
So there are times when I literally get choked up...
Seeing the line to the door...
Hearing people say, "This is the best" this or that...
Being recognized in public...

This morning was one of those times.
I saw this post on a local food review page:
"My dad’s in Oklahoma for the first time in 40 years, first time I’ve seen him in 20. He wants a real chicken fried steak.
Please drop your absolute best recommendations!!"
Cafe75 is mentioned over and over and over again.
What in the world?
We don't understand.
We are surprised.
We are honored.
And we are blown away by your support.
