Dear valued guests and community members,
With gratitude and sadness, we announce the permanent closing of Scotty B's Restaurant after 32 years of business in beautiful downtown Mound. We understand that this news may come as a surprise to some. We want you to know that we did not take this decision lightly. The business has been sold to a high-quality successor and will become a Mexican Restaurant.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our staff (past and present)and the community for their years of support and loyalty. We have greatly enjoyed serving you and being a part of this community over the years. We will always cherish the memories and experiences we have shared with you.
Even though we'll continue to live in the community, we'll miss our connection with you through the restaurant. Many of you followed us from our previous location to the current location 20 years ago, and some even from our former days with Country Kitchen. You made us feel like we didn't just have a customer base but a real community. Local restaurants are a gathering place to share accounts of our days, celebrate significant events in our lives, or share a table with our friends. These are some things that define BEING AT HOME in our community. Please continue to support your local restaurants and other businesses. Many of these places were a support to us.
Over the last month, many of you shared with us what Scotty B's Restaurant has meant to you. Thank you for taking the time to tell us your stories, and extend well wishes. You have left us with full hearts. It is always the people that make the difference!
P.S. The restaurant is retiring, not me. I'll be working soon!! :)
